venus in hollywood

We are thrilled to reveal the new artwork for our single 'Venus In Hollywood,' available on iTunes (via our own label) and soon to be released (with this cover) by My Music - Poland as the first of the European album licensing deals we have afoot.

Lovely, isn't it?

News item from My Music here (for the Polish speakers amongst you!).

This times nicely with the release of another track from our collaborations project, a dance-floor friendly fidget house remix of 'Venus' by Paris-based producer 6u5. This cute video below is a mash-up of burlesque visuals to accompany the remix, painstakingly edited by Deadbug Films (see more of their work on YouTube ‪‬ and Vimeo).

The remix is available as a single via iTunes here. It's also been included on Wagram Digital's 'Electro Swing IV' compilation by French DJs Bart and Baker, on iTunes and Amazon. And it's soon to be on their forthcoming release 'Spirit Of Electro Swing' (outMarch 19th, 2012).

"Shoobeedoowah" indeed... ♫

love locks.

Happy Valentine's Day, my dears.

No better time to share this romantic short film by my friends Liberty Smith and Daniel 'Raz' Rasmussen of Islands and Rivers, which features our song Everybody Wants To Be In Love.

In a few short minutes it beautifully portrays the modern tradition of 'love locks,' a public symbol of unbreakable love popular at the Ponte Milvio in Rome. The locks are currently at risk of removal by the local Roman government, but watching this film you get the sense that even if the padlocks are removed (as they have been at many other sites around the world), the love will remain...

(PS. Islands and Rivers are also responsible for the wonderful nature film 'Murmation,' completely different but equally as moving. I urge you to take a moment to watch it, here - you won't regret it!)

Sweet Tooth is delighted to share the first video from our collaborations and remixes project. A full-length film shot, directed and produced by Gavin Hammond, based on our song, Walk With Me. The remix is produced by Brixton-based producer Hiatus and features the haunting vocals of our Fleurtini. Enjoy! Much more to come...
